Senior Associate Apfel speaks at Financial Research Associates Summit
Croatan Institute Senior Associate Dan Apfel will present at the ESG, SRI, & Impact Investing Summit, taking place from March 30-31 at The Princeton Club in New York City.
The Summit, hosted by Financial Research Associates, is titled “From Integration to Performance: Measurement and Everything In-Between.”
Apfel will speak on March 30th on a panel titled “Climate Risk and New Opportunities for Your Investment Portfolio: Aligning your Investments for Better Financial Results and a Powerful Impact on the Environment.” He will speak alongside Logan Yonavjak of Yale University and Working Lands Investment Partners; Ken Marienau, the CEO of Mission Markets; and Marcie Smith, the Executive Director of Responsible Endowments Coalition.
The panel will discuss climate risk and emerging clean energy investment opportunities, and will answer questions including, “How does climate change impact asset allocation?” and “How do investors evaluate companies for climate change impact?”
Apfel will also be moderating the opening panel of the conference, titled, “Taking a 30,000 foot long look at ESG, SRI, and Impact Investing: Evolution and Projections for the Future.” The panelists will be Ben Thornley, the Founding Partner of ICAP Partners and Strategic Advisor to Pacific Community Ventures; Peter Berliner, the Managing Director of the Mission Investors Exchange; Marcie Smith; Ardyth Neill, the President of Heifer Foundation; Georges H. Dyer, the Coordinator of the Intentional Endowments Network; and Dan Pedrotty, the Co-Director of the Center for Workers’ Benefits & Capital Strategies for the American Federation of Teachers (AFT).
