Croatan Institute president speaks on fossil-free endowment management at Yale


Josh Humphreys, president and senior fellow at Croatan Institute, participated in a panel on “Corporate Engagement and Divestment” at The Ethical Investor in the Twenty-First Century conference at Yale University on April 18, 2014. The panel also included Jay Carmona from, Cary Krosinsky from the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets, Patrick Reed from Fossil Free Yale and Marcie Hawkins Smith from Responsible Endowments Coalition.

The conference was hosted by the Dwight Hall SRI Fund, the first undergraduate-run socially responsible investment fund in the United States. Other sessions at the event were on ESG Metrics & Social Return on Investment, Current Trends in SRI, and Ethics in the Market. Daniel Esty, the Director of the Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy, was the keynote speaker.
