Senior Fellow Sharlene Brown Participated in The Coalition for Green Capital’s Discussion on Launch of National Green Bank
November 15, 2022
Senior fellow Sharlene Brown participated in The Coalition for Green Capital’s (CGC) discussion with environmental justice leaders about the launch of a national green bank.
During the session, Sharlene focused on the importance of commitments to environmental justice within the National Green Bank. She highlighted the massive opportunity we face in America to address the racial justice challenges related to ecology and the disproportionate impact climate change has on BIPOC communities. This opportunity involves creating new models that incorporate communities that have historically been left behind.
