Agricultural Lender Education: Closing the Financial Information Gap in Conservation Agriculture

This project involves providing the agricultural finance community with information about the benefits of conservation and regenerative agriculture practices.  It will also educate lenders about profitability metrics for regenerative agriculture as well as the suite of non-economic returns it can provide. Production systems targeted include crops, livestock, and agroforestry.

This project is funded by a grant from the North Center Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education to the University of Wisconsin – Madison in collaboration with the University of Minnesota and Environmental Defense Fund.
