Anna Kanze Hamilton

Anna Kanze Hamilton is the Operations Manager for Croatan Institute, where she supports the entire Institute team with particular emphasis on accounting, human resources, technology, communications, donor relations, and other operational project management.

Previously, Anna was Managing Director of Grassroots Capital Management, leading the team’s investment due diligence, monitoring and reporting along with ESG and socially responsible investing advisory work, in collaboration with colleagues based in India and Latin America. She was instrumental in developing and executing Grassroots’ investment management processes, including the valuation of equity investments, and the co-creation of regional funds, including designing and overseeing the funds’ internal systems and processes. 

Anna has also worked at Citi Investment Research in Equity Research and the Global Capital Markets groups, conducting primary research, generating investment ideas, creating and maintaining financial valuation models, and writing published industry and company research reports.

She has her MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and her BA in International Relations and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Anna is an advisor on several startups, a volunteer with Compass, a mentor with the Decatur Education Foundation, and a mentor with Budget Buddies.
