Clean Portfolio Project
The Clean Portfolio Project takes a total portfolio approach to fossil-free investing in integrated climate solutions.
April 2019
The Clean Portfolio Project and Croatan Institute hosted a roundtable discussion where they explored models to finance renewable energy across asset classes. The event took place on April 8, 2019 at Greentown Labs in Somerville, Massachusetts.
The event is being hosted by Sunwealth, a Boston-area clean energy investment firm, at the country’s largest cleantech startup incubator, Greentown Labs.
The Clean Portfolio Project is developing total portfolio approaches to fossil-free investing in integrated climate solutions. Intentional investments in renewable energy and energy infrastructure, storage, and efficiency can help mitigate the impacts of climate change and build resilience in communities that most need it.
Investors will share how they are working in various asset classes, such as fixed income, private debt, venture capital, and public equities, to make investments in solar, wind, energy efficiency, and related technologies and infrastructure, and how they can generate positive impacts on communities and the climate.
