6:00 – 9:30 PM

Coolidge Corner Theatre | Brookline, Massachusetts

join Our reception & film screening

Share food and drinks with us for an intimate evening reception starting at 6:00 PM on December 4 with close partners and allies of Croatan Institute, followed by a community screening of two films. This is a great opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainability, social justice, and innovative solutions.

We are excited to be hosting with catering provided by Fresh Food Generation, a restaurant, food truck and catering company sourcing locally and seasonally.

You will also have a chance to enter our raffle (see details below). Tickets will be available for purchase at the event for $25 (cash, check, and exact change only).

About the films

We are thrilled to be premiering a new short film produced by our team with support from Patagonia and Waverley Street Foundation, Soil Wealth: Investing in Regenerative Agriculture. We will also be screening the new documentary Digging In produced by Sustainable Agriculture & Food System Funders (SAFSF), focused on the US agricultural system and who controls our food and farmers. Thanks to the support of Climate Action Brookline, we are able to open the film screenings to our local community.

Co-producer of the Digging In documentary (plus narrator of the Soil Wealth film) and Croatan Institute Board member Masika Henson will join our newest Board Member Lisa Woll along with Board Member William J. Barber III and team members in a lively panel on the films and the role Croatan Institute has played in advancing the role of finance to create change.

MEET OUR SPECIAL PANELISTS

Co-producer of the Digging In documentary (plus narrator of our Soil Wealth film) and Croatan Institute Board member Masika Henson will join our newest Board Member Lisa Woll alongside Board Member William J. Barber, III, co-founder Joshua Humphreys, and program director Sharlene Brown in a panel on the films and the role Croatan Institute has played in accelerating capital flows into food, fiber, and forest value chains to create change over the past decade.

ENTER THE RAFFLE DRAWING

Through the generous support of local businesses, we are excited to offer multiple raffle basket drawings at our event featuring farm-to-fiber apparel, gift cards to regenerative shops, sustainable food products, and more.

You can purchase raffle tickets for $25 at the event (credit card, check, and exact change only). All event sponsors will receive complimentary raffle tickets.

Each ticket purchase circulates capital to local economies, allowing us to expand our impact and better redistribute resources to food, fiber, and forestry value chains.
