Uyoga Farm

Demi Tucker is a 5th generation farmer and Nutrition Scientist from North Carolina. After leaving Corporate Nutrition in 2020, she combined her hobby of growing mushrooms and passion for nutrition and created The Uyoga Farm in Fayetteville, NC. The Uyoga Farm focuses on growing a variety of gourmet mushrooms and offering mushroom-based products. It is housed on family-owned land in rural Stedman, North Carolina. This land has been in her family’s care for generations. Demi aims to highlight the nutritional benefits of mushrooms as well as helping to further normalize their consumption amongst Black and Brown people. She is also proud to continue her family’s legacy of farming and agriculture.
