Financial Health 2025 Cohort Launches

November 22, 2024
The REEFS team kicked-off the 6th cohort of the FinHealth program (aka Financial Health Investment Project), bringing together a small group of BIPOC farmers in North Carolina for an intensive workshop day centered on personal financial security. FinHealth is a free learning opportunity offering practical financial skills over a series of virtual sessions in an intimate community space led by our certified financial coaches.
Our team switched it up by kicking-off the program with an in-person gathering at the beautiful Union Grove Farm, which hosts 70 acres of vineyard and 1,000 acres of pasture and forested land. FinHealth participants had the opportunity to tour the farm and get an up-close look at their regenerative agriculture methods.
We were pleased to welcome four farmers and landowners for a workshop day, including for the first time Spanish bilingual support to expand our reach across North Carolina’s diverse sector.
