Overview of Database
This database identifies investable products across asset classes focused on financing food and agriculture systems. The data included consists of publicly available information and features investable products across Cash & Equivalents, Fixed Income, Public Equity, Private Equity/VC, and Real Assets. Investors who wish to explore investments focused on sustainable and regenerative agriculture can filter by asset class, level of exposure to agricultural themes, and find specific firms and products of interest. Database users can filter by two different levels of exposure to sustainable and regenerative agriculture, described below:
- ESG with Food and Ag: Includes investable opportunities focused on food and agriculture with a broad ESG-lens without explicit mention of sustainable, regenerative, or organic approaches.
- Sustainable/Regenerative Food and Ag: Includes investable opportunities that explicitly mention sustainable, regenerative, and/or organic agriculture as well as soil health.
