Croatan Institute is working alongside the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) to garner investor support for the Fostering Overseas Rule of Law and Environmentally Sound Trade (FOREST) Act, introduced in 2021.

This bill targets commodity-driven deforestation and aims to regulate how US companies procure raw materials and products, ultimately curbing global illegal deforestation.

As a partner in this project, Croatan is seeking primarily US-based investors who would like to support this important initiative. The letter of support and sign on portal are open to all organizations and current signatories include both international and US-based investors and organizations.
