Investing in Regenerative Agriculture Infrastructure Across Value Chains
Panelists discuss the specific financing needs of regenerative agriculture infrastructure businesses and how to implement innovative capital solutions.
This project has identified finance opportunities and pathways that work to build processing, distribution, and market infrastructure for regenerative farms. This builds on the Croatan Institute 2019 report, Soil Wealth: Investing in Regenerative Agriculture across Asset Classes, which quantifies the current investment landscape surrounding regenerative agriculture to understand how investors can allocate investments across asset classes to further these efforts. Through interviews and research, the project will produce a report that identifies the capital needs and potential sources of patient, flexible, and non-extractive capital to build resilient supply chains for regenerative enterprises.
Regenerative Agriculture Infrastructure Database: Through this research, the Croatan Institute team compiled a database of regenerative agriculture infrastructure companies and capital providers. You can view this list of businesses here.
